Justine stewart | Bio Video
This “bio video” was created in 2022 during my journey towards completing my masters. It tells the story of my time as a broadcast journalist and career change to a public communications professional and educator. What makes the story unique is my transition to motherhood and how that fuels my drive to succeed

john judge: the man, the myth, the engineer
A story about the man I am lucky enough to call my dad. I had the opportunity to do a journalism piece for a grad school class. My professor suggested we look to our family as a source. I’m glad she did. This was by far one of the hardest story I’ve put together. Every sound bite means so much to me and there is still so much more to his story I want to tell. My father has had an extremely accomplished career and is still working today. He will go down as a legend with Sikorsky and the Blackhawk.

chasing cans | Nat sound sequence
This short video is one that demonstrates the use of nat sound. Natural sound is essential for any good video or story. A great videographer knows how to capture this and utilize it in storytelling techniques. This story is about a barrel racer and brings the sounds of the event to the viewer/listener.
now or never
This video was a challenge from a professor I had during my time at S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communication at Syracuse. We were asked to use the theme “now or never” to introduce ourselves to the class and give some insight into who we are. I chose to video the first time I put a ride on of my colts. Shooting this video was both fun and challenging. Moral of the story – I have a very patient colt.
card game sequence | video sequencing demonstration
This simple video demonstrates the use of sequencing to tell a story. Sequencing is a skill every videographer should understand and utilize. It keeps the video/story moving and creates a flow for the viewer. I use this video as an introduction to a video sequencing unit in my classroom.
